The Lord has risen just as He said he would. He not only conquered death, He walked among His disciples and even let Thomas touch the wounds on His hands and His feet. They watched Him ascend into the heavens with a promise that he would be coming back. All of this so that we who are in Christ will rise as well, and have eternal life. We must believe, and we must also rise up to do the things that the Lord asked us to do for this wonderful privilege. Rise up from your place of comfort and serve the Lord. We all can do something in this world to share His Word, or give Him glory. We can wake up and say today I am going to show the love of Christ to who ever I meet. I know someone who is in a sewing group making clothes for orphans. A friend of mine goes out every Wednesday with peanut butter sandwiches, and cookies for Homeless people. They know her car, and come out of there makeshift homes to greet her as she drives along where they are waiting for that peanut butter sandwich. That’s just two examples of rising up and serving the Lord. This Easter season I rose up and made Easter Egg Pins with a cross on the back which I attached to one of my photo’s with scripture on it. As I always do I passed them out to the Cancer Center I go to. Yesterday I had one in my purse when I shopped. There was a sample lady who was so sweet as she gave me her product. I walked away and didn’t get to far before the Lord spoke to me and told me to go back and give her the pin and scripture I had in my purse. So I turned around and went back and told her I have something for you. I gave her the little gift and she got tears and said I made her day. She gave me the biggest hug and I walked away knowing that the Word of God was delivered. We all should rise and meditate on how we can serve the Lord, He is so worthy!!! He Has Risen!
My desire is to share my photography, to honor the Lord, and send out His word to all who might read. My photo's will include a scripture, and I write a devotional for each entry. The very least that I can do for our precious Lord Jesus. I am a wife to Jerry, my wonderful husband. We have 5 children, and 7 granchildren.
